Dear Parents,
On 9/25, 9/27, 10/1, 10/7, 10/11, 10/15, & 10/17/2024, our school/campus will conduct emergency evacuation drills. These drills will focus on the General Response Protocols (GRP) for an Evacuation or Soft Lockdown.

Please use the GRP Summary Guide (https://www.schools.nyc.gov/school-life/safe-schools/emergency-readiness) to discuss our responses with your child in advance of this drill.

Effective September 9th, all students are required to adhere to the following uniform guidelines:

Shirt: White polo with a collar
Pants: Black khaki or slacks (no jeans allowed)
Please ensure that your uniform complies with these requirements. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out.

We are also a Cell Phone Free School.

Effective September 5th, all students are required to adhere to the following cell phone policy. Please read pages 14-15.


School Starts promptly at 8:00 a.m.

InsideSchools, Masa, and INCLUDEnyc are hosting two events to support immigrant families this Saturday, January 11th online and in-person on Saturday, January 25th. Sessions will cover:


Immigrant Rights: Learn what to do if ICE comes to your home, workplace, or stops you in the street, and what steps to take if you or a loved one is detained.

Emergency Planning: Discover what to do in case of an emergency, what documents you should prepare, and what to include in a plan for your children, pets, and assets.

Special Education Planning: Worried about how your child is progressing academically or emotionally in school? Explore resources and services for supporting children with special education needs.

School uniform policy is in effect as of Monday, September 9th, 2024.

Students must wear a solid white polo shirt and black khaki pants/slacks or joggers.
NO JEANS ARE ALLOWED. Pants may not have any rips in them.

Cell Phone-Free School: Our school is a phone-free space to improve teaching and learning using a Yondr system. The Yondr Program utilizes a simple, secure pouch that stores a phone. Every student will secure their phone in a personally assigned Yondr pouch when they arrive at school. Students will maintain possession of their phones and will only use them once their pouches are opened at the end of the school day. Students are required to bring their Yondr pouch to and from school each day and are responsible for their pouch at all times. Upon entry to the building, students who do not have their pouch will be expected to check their cell phone in the main office for the duration of the school day.
