Important update to our student dismissal policy, effective starting January 2, 2025.

To ensure the safety and security of all students, please note the following:

~All students must be signed out in person by a parent, guardian, or an authorized family member listed on the blue emergency contact card.
~Verbal releases over the phone will no longer be permitted.
~Only students with a documented medical excuse will be granted a release to leave early.

I am kindly asking for your cooperation in adhering to this updated policy as we prioritize the well-being of all students. If you have any questions or need to update your child’s blue card information, please contact the main office at 718-333-7650.

Thursday, December 19, 2024:
Students will have a half-day of classes from 8:00 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. During this time, they will attend their 5th, 7th, 8th, and 9th-period classes. Please ensure your child is present for this important instructional day.
Friday, December 20, 2024:
Students will participate in a full day of classes as we celebrate our Annual Culture Festival.
Winter Break:
Winter Break begins on Monday, December 23, 2024, and classes will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Dear Parents,
On 9/25, 9/27, 10/1, 10/7, 10/11, 10/15, & 10/17/2024, our school/campus will conduct emergency evacuation drills. These drills will focus on the General Response Protocols (GRP) for an Evacuation or Soft Lockdown.

Please use the GRP Summary Guide (https://www.schools.nyc.gov/school-life/safe-schools/emergency-readiness) to discuss our responses with your child in advance of this drill.

Effective September 9th, all students are required to adhere to the following uniform guidelines:

Shirt: White polo with a collar
Pants: Black khaki or slacks (no jeans allowed)
Please ensure that your uniform complies with these requirements. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out.

We are also a Cell Phone Free School.

Effective September 5th, all students are required to adhere to the following cell phone policy. Please read pages 14-15.


School Starts promptly at 8:00 a.m.

School uniform policy is in effect as of Monday, September 9th, 2024.

Students must wear a solid white polo shirt and black khaki pants/slacks or joggers.
NO JEANS ARE ALLOWED. Pants may not have any rips in them.

White Short Sleeve Polo Shirt: $15
Black Joggers: $20
Black Hoodie: $20
